# Overview
Revelation Breathwork sessions typically last for a total of 55 minutes. Sessions are primarily conducted over zoom. In that time period there are 30-40 minutes of active breathing, with time set aside for background information, learning the technique, and some time to check in afterwards.
First time sessions are usually a bit shorter on the active breathing portion to make a bit more space for discussion of the technique and check in.
# Time Breakdown
For a typical session here is an approximate time breakdown:
- 5m - Technical difficulties
- 5-10m - Introductory material, technique discussion.
- 35-40m - Intention setting, grounding, and active breathing
- 5m - Check in after session
# Breathing + Music
For the active breathing portion I will have a curated playlist. I have several playlists to choose from and the music / style can be customized. During the breathing I will hold space, guide, and prompt you to go deeper.
# What to expect
It's different for everyone! That said, people often go into a non-ordinary state of consciousness and do some amount of emotional processing. Be prepared to scream, cry, process, and release!
# Scheduling
I recommend having at least 30 minutes blocked off for journaling or other processing and integration practices after a breathwork session. Please don't plan on hopping right into a work zoom meeting afterwards!
